Oh yes... because EVERYONE wants to know how Cen-chan learned to shade.

yeah... learn this.... I GANKED IT!!!!

YEAH... that's right.... someone told me an easier way than what I was doing... so now i'm giving it to you. so self-less of me, ne? HA

do be warned though... this will mulitply your layers by 3 -- your color's layer, a new shadows layer and a new highlights layer.

One thing I didn't mention... if you need to get a little more specific about where your highlights/shadows go, you can block that part out instead of doing the control click thing I say. (isn't it apple click for mac's? I don't remember it's the one by the spacebar, i think)

but yeah... just use your brain... and hopefully you'll go far. ^_^

but like i did say, this should work for any version of photoshop. I'm using cs2 and i can still use it... and I could use it on my learning version of 5.5... and learned it in 6.5.... used it in 7.0... yeah... it's pretty much across the board.

j00 are correct. The apple key is my downfall; I use my Mac so much that I find myself trying to use the "Alt" key on a PC to do the same damn things, and then bang on the keyboard for a few seconds until I realize where I am.

Still here; just not as involved.

I would also like to give you a sincere fucking kudos (that's right, a sincere fucking kudos, because a sincere kudos doesn't even begin to cover it) for making this one of fancy three-pass JPEGs. It makes me very happy to know that people still care about dial-up users these days.
